REASONING
The lone reason I created Moskillz Entertainment LLC. And Snapping Turtle Images/Productions. Was because I wanted to be able to promote people places and things that I had first hand knowledge of. And things I had created myself,videos,photography and graphic art. I didn’t ask for or except sponsors because I didn’t want to have to answer to anyone or have to bow to sponsor pressure to add or not ad content. Because of this I don’t sell merchandise , my own or others. I promote up coming events and artist. But I’m not paid by anyone I promote or link too. I have tried affiliated programs. But because I don’t have paid sponsors. Or a linked influencer account to social media platforms. I can’t generate their required audience minimum. So I keep my independence, but I lose in potential income. You can’t go viral and stay behind the scene. But I do remember a small shoestring budget weekly local magazine, that is now the leading statewide weekly publication on and offline. Honestly the Metro Times influenced me very much. And I still look to it for guidance. But I have no affiliation to them at all. So my work and my art has a place. It’s just not in the mainstream media that I or anyone doing this would like it to be. After over nine years of promoting venues and various artist. I am grateful for everything I have learned along the way.
